About Founder

Kshitij Bajaj
Founder & CEO

Kshitij Bajaj is an Automotive Designer with more than 16 Years
of industry experience.

Kshitij runs 2 successful startups namely Torque Inc & Ion
Ohms, dealing in Bespoke Vehicle builds and Electric Vehicles
R&D respectively.

Starting his career with a high note working as
an outsourced vendor for the biggest automobile
manufacturer in India,Kshitij has been pushing
boundaries and limits of what is possible since the
last 16 years!

He graduated from Coventry University as
a Transport and Product Designer.

Kshitij, returned home, established ‘Torque’ and
started making waves in the bespoke
‘Vehicle Aftermarket’ modifications and customizations
with his creative flair and work intellect, thus standing
out between established players instantly.

He was approached by India’s largest automobile
manufacturer to Design Interiors and exteriors,
fabricate and display vehicles for the 2010 Auto-Expo.
This was an excellent opportunity to learn and widen
the knowledge field with first hand experience and
was consequently executed flawlessly as 6 cars were
delivered for the expo in a record 90 days.

Kshitij went on to work on projects with various
companies and started delivering projects to
individuals and rebranded himself as an
Automotive Design Studio, picking up the Torque INC
moniker.

He continued with the Automotive heritage and,
started a new firm to build bespoke trucks and
motorhomes which tanked the same year due to
administrative challenges. But being a ‘rolling stone’
by nature, he actively started looking for better
avenues to further the adventure.

He set up Ion Ohms and took another plunge
outside his comfort zone and ventured into
Electric vehicles with success coming his way,
within the first few months in the form of India’s
first Electric Tractor.

Kshitij founded Dandera as his 3rd venture.
The aim was to bring new technology and fresh
approach to the automobile sector.

He graduated from Coventry University as

About Co-Founder

Kanav Manchanda
COO

Kanav graduated with an Honors degree in Commerce on a
full scholarship. To successfully turn his family business around
as one of the leading names in the industry

After graduation, he dove straight into work
and revived the family business of manufacturing PU
foam. His job was to manufacture, market and
create a distribution chain, pan India for PU foam.
He achieved his targets in record time whilst
establishing his company’s dominance specifically
in the northern section of the country.

He headed a turnkey project wherein he converted
a barren piece of land in Gurgaon, into a fully
functional state of the art, guest house that has
been in operation for 10years.

Kanav, shifted his foam manufacturing factory unit
from it’s ancestral land, due to governmental
acquisition for development purposes.The shift was
challenging- given the heavy machinery and
the need to keep production on to ensure minimal
fiscal damage; but Kanav managed to execute the
daunting task rather seamlessly, with stringent
planning of finances and other verticals.

Owing to his ability to take profitable risks, he
became a certified stock trader and is adept at
handling various financial portfolios as well.

Kanav joined his best friend and now business
partner as he became Dandera’s COO.
